  In April, 2014, our basset hound suffered a disc injury in his back and lost all use of his hind legs. Consultation with our vet at the time, and calls to advanced veterinary surgical centers in Tampa and Gainesville all resulted in the same prognosis - an MRI ($3K) followed by surgery ($5K+), with no assurance of solving the problem. My wife found The Healing Place on the internet, and while I had no knowledge of holistic care - and even less confidence - I was desperate. We were immediately impressed with Dr. Trish's compassion and patience with us and Beau. Within 30 days, manipulations, laser and supplements had Beau literally back on his feet. Now, 2 1/2 years later, he has had no further problems. He continues to see Dr. Trish for routine checks and care. We could not be happier.

  I went to The Healing Place after they being highly recommended by a friend who takes her rescues there. I have been to this place several times and found them very helpful. Way beyond what most vets I found would take the time to spend with a client answering questions and helping my animals. I travel a long ways to get to The Healing Place and so do some of my other friends. They have truly bent over backwards to help me in many predicaments. I truly appreciate the Dr.'s patience with our hyper German Shepherd puppy. I have no hesitations to recommend The Healing Place to others and I am a very very picky person when it comes to the care of my animals.
